Improve Once the root causes are identified, you develop, test, and implement solutions. The goal is to eliminate the waste or errors found in the previous step. In a kitchen, this would be the chef refining a recipe by adjusting the salt or heat until the dish is consistently perfect. Control The final phase ensures that the improvements are sustained over time. You implement monitoring systems and standard operating procedures so the process does not revert to its old state. This is like a pilot using a checklist before every takeoff to ensure the flight remains safe every single time.

I am an interim supply chain consultant and operations director with over 40 years of senior-level experience. My expertise lies in managing high-volume fulfillment, pharmaceutical supply chains, and complex eCommerce networks on a global scale.
I partner with organizations facing operational friction. This often involves untangling fragmented international processes, recalibrating underperforming 3PL networks, or designing a complete structural shift in reverse logistics profitability.
Recently, as Director of Business Operations at Wish (ContextLogic), I constructed the Wish Local program from the ground up. This resulted in a successful expansion to 36,000 active stores across Europe. Prior to this, I led EMEA Supply Chain Operations for Groupon Goods, where I engineered a comprehensive redesign of their reverse logistics model. My previous tenure at Affymetrix included managing pivotal global 3PL partnerships across the Americas and Europe.
My approach relies on patience and a measured, long-term review of the data before implementing tactical changes. I embed quickly, utilize Six Sigma rigor to identify root causes, and systematically rebuild processes to leave the organization in a fundamentally stronger position.
